Updates!

Hey y'all! Long time no see!
Life has been so crazy busy and I have been loving living it! :)
Here are some updates for y'all because a lot has changed in (almost) 2 months!

-First, I pretty much have the whole wedding planned (yes I'm crazy organized). My colors are plum and silver. The wedding is 9-5-15 and is going to be traditional and classical. I have my wedding party picked out and we have dresses picked (along with my dress ;) ) but that's all for a later post! We are getting married in the biggest Catholic Church in my hometown and our reception will be at an event center looking over the river. My biggest expenses are the flowers and my photographer :) Literally, the only thing we don't have booked is our cake... I have no clue who to go to...

-Second, I found out my beautiful sister is expecting her third baby this September shortly after Jude & I got engaged! I also was asked to be the Godmother of this sweet angel, and I feel so blessed and honored. Obviously I am hoping for a girl... but who can deny that she makes the cutest little boys?

-Third, While at my floral appointment we got a call that my sister-in-law's water broke! On January 25th 2014 Jude and I found out we got another sweet little nephew, Kellan Christopher! Ready for picture overload?

Our first time meeting Kellan:

Brendyn & Tayte's first time meeting Kellan (Brendyn is obsessed!!!)

2 weeks later the babies went sledding...Kellan and I decided to hang out in the warm house :) Bryn was over it the second she got snow on her face :)

And my all time favorite picture of Bryn & Kellan:
(Much to our surprise she is the BEST big sister.. there is absolutely no jealousy and she loves him to pieces!)

-Four, I completed Jillian Michael's Ripped in 30 and absolutely loved it! I lost 5 pounds (which is a lot for someone my size!) My mom lost 9!!!

-Five, I have decided I'm going to take a new stance on blogging. When I started I found inspiration from many bloggers, recently there has been so much drama going on (yes I keep with blog posts/instagram even when I'm not actually blogging lol) I find it really sad that people feel the need to photo-shop, argue through pictures, and be really immature when they're grown adults. From this point on I'm just going to blog when I want and truthfully not care about followers, or comments or anything. This is for me. To look back on, and to journal my thoughts. I will not blog just to blog, and I don't really like reading blogs that are just to blog. I especially don't like reading blogs that are just for drama. Spring is time for new life and changes... let's make it happen!

Love you guys!!

Introducing the future Mrs. Smith!

Jeeze, where has the time gone?! It feels like Christmas should still be a week away... am I right?!
Life has been sooo crazy lately I have barley had a second to breath!
Anyways, I have lots and lots to update y'all on so I hope you're ready!

First of all Christmas was absolutely amazing! Jude and I spent lots of time with our family and
truly enjoyed every second. I got to watch my nephews open their gifts on Christmas morning, and it was so sweet seeing them get so excited!

Jude and I agree to not get anything for each other for Christmas, and I have to admit I definitely gave him a hard time when he actually didn't get me anything for Christmas. Little did I know...

The next weekend I planned and hosted a dinner party at my sisters house so we could use all of her fancy china. We had so much fun eating and just enjoying some celebrating.

Tayte thought he would get invited if he dressed up..no such luck lol

Later that night, I got my sweat pants on, tied back my hair and laid down. Jude said he ended up getting me a Christmas present and he handed me a medium sized black box. He thought I was going to think it was a ring.. but I truthfully didn't. So I opened this box and it was the cheapest white watch I have ever seen (actually it was from Walmart). I just looked at him and said "Jude, I already have a white watch...why would you waste your money on this?" I then yanked it out of the box and a big shinny thing came flying at me out from under the watch. Of course I jumped up and started having a panic attack. It hit me...omg he was proposing. He got down on one knee, in my bedroom, and told me that it's been 4 years and he's never stopped loving me.

I think he thought I was actually hyperventilating because he started to try to calm me down. I know I didn't have an extravagant proposal but I can tell you this, Jude surprised the shit out of me. Never did I expect it coming at that moment. And if he would have tried to take me to a fancy dinner, a nice hotel, anything extravagant, I would have known it was coming. Because for the last 2 months every single time we did anything like that I thought it was coming!

I actually didn't believe the ring was real at first because of how beautiful it is, I made him show me the appraisal papers ;) So then of course we had to go tell my parents (my dad already knew because Jude asked his permission a few months ago when he bought the ring), and then everyone else in the world we care about! Everyone is so excited and I cannot wait to be the Mr & Mrs Smith!

We're planning for a wedding on 9-5-15 and I cannot wait to marry my prince charming :)

After all of this we got to celebrate Jude's birthday! Our first celebration as an engaged couple! I threw him a party at my house for his family and my family and we all had so much fun!
Jude's first legal drink in the US!

My present for Jude!

Hope you all had a wonderful Holiday Season!

5 on Friday (Holiday Edition!)

Happy Friday y'all! 3 More days until Christmas Eve, I'm a kid at heart! :)

1) SPARKLE

These are my favorite heels! I'm pairing these with a black sparkly skirt and simple red shirt and black sweater for Christmas Eve! I love sparkle on Christmas :)

2) BOWS

On Christmas Day I'm wearing a skirt just like this except it has a bow on the center of it, and I'm pairing it with a sparkly top and black sweater. I love wearing a little bow on Christmas, it makes me feel so festive:)

3) The excitement of kids when they see Santa!

Nothing compares to seeing kids get excited over Santa! It makes Christmas so much more exciting!

4) Celebrating this kiddo's birthday!
I cannot believe Issac (Jude's little brother) turned 11 this week! In this picture he was only 7 or 8. I still remember him as a chubby little baby, and next year he will be in Middle School! Crazy! Time goes way too fast, makes me want to hold on to every moment with the babies.

5) Hot Rollers!
I know this is sooo 80's but seriously I'm obsessed. It is soo easy and since I really suck at curling my hair this is my fool proof way of getting perfect curls! Also, I can do my makeup while doing my hair...sign me up!

Workout Report!

I've been feeling really good lately with my workouts. I've been doing about 8-10 miles a week
along with some light strength training. I feel like I always step it up before a holiday because I want to feel and look good during a big celebration!

This week I'm trying to squeeze in all my workouts before the weekend and trying to get in some extras before the holiday's come early next week so I wont have to worry about them. Although I truthfully hate working out (especially running) I always feel AMAZING when I'm done.

As long as I remember that as soon as I'm done I can just relax and feel good, I can get through the run. But seriously... to whoever says "omg! I love running!..."

Because every second makes me want to poke my eyes out...
